What you should know about Invercargill Brewery
This effervescent parched apple cider is made from fresh juiced Central Otago grown Granny Smith and Braeburn apples, it contains less than 1 sugar, delivering an authentically dry finish for the sincere cider fan. If it’s from our Brewery Fresh range we guarantee it will final up to two months. Stanley Green Pale Ale is a pale bronze color, hints of fruitcake and a parched choppy conclude are all crammed into this traditionally styled ale, this is a good rounded beer best served at 13 C. As well as 330ml bottles, we also give our Brewery New range of 1. 25l riggers we’ve chosen strong brown PET bottles to protect against the ubiquitous light strike which we purge with C02 before filling to save against oxidation then they are stamped with a two month best earlier date so you can be sure they really are brewery fresh. We’ve been making cider the customary way since 199 when Nelly’s Parched Cider was first made from wind fallen roadside apples, juiced, fermented then served at an uncut 7 percent alcohol by volume. In 2008 the Fresh Zealand Brewers Guild successfully petitioned the World Beer Cup in 2008 for a fresh style Powerful Fresh Zealand Style Pilsner.
We called this beverage simply Nelly’s Cider until an explosion of sugar fueled drinks in the cider space confused the market so much we decided to aid customers make better buying decisions by sharpening up our product description. The brew was built following a request from the brewery’s first customer, Bombay Palace, who wanted a beer designed to drink with spicy food. The house forbid includes cider, non alcoholic drinks and wine as healthy as our delicious range of craft beers so there is something for everyone if you’re not sure what you like, you can always ask for a wee taste before committing to a glass. From here they’re packaged into 330ml bottles, or kegs, and shipped around New Zealand and the world.
