The shareholder and chairman of Generus Living Group is Graham Wilkinson who is the President and longest serving member on the Executive of the Retirement Villages Association. After 20 odd years living in a beautiful apartment, I never thought I’d find home’ again. Then I saw the design plans and knew instinctively that this village was going to be something special. I have plenty of space, plenty to keep me occupied, a beautifully appointed terraced house and, importantly, I have company all around me whenever I want.
When The Russley Hotel, a well loved Canterbury watering hole, was built and opened in 1964, it was ahead of its time and became a famous meeting point for people of Christchurch and the rural plain beyond. In 2008 the iconic hotel was demolished and the extensive site was used for a high end retirement community, The Russley Village
